Hi Derry,

Thank you very much for your visit today.  It was really enjoyed by all the children and I think they all took something beneficial from the talk.  Attached please find a few pictures that were taken in the room.
I wish you every success on the special night coming up in Graignamannagh with Moling's Special Tribute night.
It was a pleasure to meet you all.

Regards,
Laura

On Tuesday 29th November 2016 The All Ireland RoadShow visited St. Michael's N.S. Newtown, in the parish of St. Mullins, Co. Carlow, and the purpose of the visit was to introduce the 47 pupils to "Play The Game".
"Play The Game" is a BigScreen Slide Film Production featuring legends of sport across many sports codes and foremost in the gathering of legends are former GAA players across many counties.
The objective for the pupils is introduction to the legends and informing them that they too can become legends and this leads to great rewards when they become successful.

On the visit I was accompanied by Moling Morrissey, a legendary Carlow hurler, Cyril Hughes, a dual star with Carlow and along came Michael Morrissey who played with Kilkenny and Dublin. Pupils were throwing out loads of questions on Times Past to the legends and a really enjoyable 90 minutes was the outcome.

This was a really enjoyable presentation for me and I know my friendly Carlow legends all enjoyed a great morning of music, song and "Play The Game".

Special thanks to Laura and Sharon at St. Michael's Nation School, for their courtesy and it was magical to see so many pupils attired in the proud Green/White colours of St. Mullins GAA club.
