In 1972 Galway won their first ever All Ireland Under 21 Championship title and many of the players on that team went on to become Galway hurling legends. Amongst the great players to emerge was Iggy Clarke and in 2014 Iggy was inducted into All Ireland Hall Of Fame Online Gallery in a SportsLife Tribute Show hosted by Derry JF Doody and attended by over 300 patrons.
